Deployment Project #74- Kitchen Reveal...Finally!

Finally, I have a kitchen I am not embarrassed to show you!!!!

I present to you

Deployment Project # 74

Kitchen Reveal

When we first moved in this house almost 6 years ago I was dead-set on having a maroon kitchen (why?)....

So for 5 years I HAD my maroon kitchen.

But with my ever changing taste of colors and styles, I wanted a lighter look...

SO, I primed it....

..and painted it a light shade of beige...

But something about it didn't sit right with me...

too light?

not "beigey" enough?...

I don't know.

I looked and looked at EVERY shade of beige there is out there....and drove my husband crazy in the process

Eventually, I came across the perfect shade for my kitchen...

Love Love Loooovvveee this shade of beige! I even painted my curtains to match. You can read about how I did it HERE

One wall contains our wall of fame...a great way to display the children's art work and achievements...

i like both colors, both my last kitchen and my current are maroon, though my current had wainscoating and that is a cream color, as are the cabinets, so it is a little broken up :)
