After doing a little research, I found that hanging one of these babies is not as hard as I thought. You can find some great pictures AND a tutorial by clicking HERE!

So, off to Lowe's I went....

I think I spent about $15 total on this project. The peg board came in a 4x6 sheet and I had them cut it down to 3x3 since I didn't need it that large.  Once I had it home I painted it. Using two 5/8in x 3ft boards (one at the top of the board, one at the bottom), I hung it up on my wall. (First by securing the 2 small boards to the wall, then attaching the peg board to the boards) You need the 2 small boards because if you are going to put pegs through it, you need a little space in between the back of the pegboard and the wall so the pegs will fit. Make sense?? If not email me!

An hour later (it took an hour because I had to wait on the paint to dry. Ever watched paint dry?? It takes longer than you think! ha!)....anyway, an hour later I had a new peg board for my craft room!

This actually not finished. I still want to hang more things on it... I just threw some things on there so you can get the idea! I plan on putting my daughter's art table (that is currently in her room) under it so she can draw/color while I am at work in my craft room!!! She loves the idea of being able to create something at the same time as Mom!

I will admit...I am feeling a bit discombobulated (LOVE that word) at the moment. With just 8 days left until my hubby comes home from his deployment, I still have to get through 5 more projects. Not to mention, I have a house that needs to be cleaned from top to bottom, laundry done, meals cooked, baths to give,2 little ones to take care of,  bags packed and be ready to head out to pick him up in just 6 days!!! That's a project a day from now until the time he comes home!! EEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!

I am totally feeling the pressure!!!! But if you keep checking back, I think you will be pleased to see I DO have a project planned every day for the next 6 days!!!!!

I'll sleep later....WHEW!

Happy Thursday everyone! See you tomorrow!

Very happy for you that your deployment is coming to an end-we're about halfway through ours currently and its tough (I also have two little ones and one more on the way.) Love the peg board project, I think this would be a great way to help organize in our playroom! Thanks for sharing!
