To say July was a busy month would be an understatement!!!!
We seemed to stay on the go non stop the month of July, and August doesn't look like it's slowing down either! (which is why you haven't heard from me)
Soo, here's what July looked like for us.....
Soo, here's what July looked like for us.....
We celebrated the hubby's birthday (along with his brother who also has a birthday around the same time)
Got some time with my precious grandmother who's health is declining....I just love her!
I whipped up a table runner for my breakfast table.....
We attened the Deployment ceremony for my hubby.....
This picture pretty much sums up how we ALL feel about Daddy deploying....
My oldest attended cheerleading camp....always fun to watch her!!!
We took a trip to Memphis and visited the children's museum there....TONS of fun for the girls!
Miss B even got to pet a hissing cockroach....and LOVED it!!
I was crazy enough to run in a 5K in Memphis while we were there...it was 90 degrees at the start of the race....I'm fortunate I didn't collapse!
Not only did I cross the finish line alive, I place THIRD in my age group!!!! Whoop! Whoop!Very exciting!
There was a really funny blue man at the race Miss B took a liking too, so we took her picture with him...
We met the hubby down at his deployment training and had 4 great days with him before he left for overseas....
We visited New Orleans....Boy, was it hot! (more pics from our visit in the next post)
....and enjoyed popcicles to (try) to cool off....
Here we are at Jackson Square, trying to find some shade for a few minutes...
The girls went to Margaritaville, New Orleans style....
We had one last family outing......hubby left the next day for overseas...
So there's a peek into our month....August has started and I am getting into "Back To School" mode...lots of supply and clothes shopping!!
I'll be back tomorrow with more pics from New Orleans...
