I've had all these posts about Faith, but haven't had many about my sweet Brooke lately. Well, today was Brooke's first day at Child's Day Out.... some call it Mother's Morning Out...I like to call it "A Few Hours Without Brooke To Regain My Sanity".....for those of you who know Brooke you know that she is a pistol! A very busy child who has never stopped moving to even notice the television....how much I would pay just to have her sit for 20 minutes and watch Dora, but NO, she refuses to acknowledge the tv....so my days with Brooke are forever moving at warp speed....
So today was the first day of Child's Day Out...Hallelujah...Praise God....
Okay, so I don't really mean that....I DO love my baby girl, but it's nice to have a morning without her where I can catch my breath, take a shower without little hands beating on the shower door, eat a meal at my table without having to poor more milk, or wipe up the crumbs or a dirty mouth, and actually sit down for a few minutes and do absolutely nothing.
Brooke will only go on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so it's just a few hours a week. Even though I look forward to having 2 mornings to myself, I find comfort knowing Brooke is surrounded by Christian teachers and friends. And I almost felt guilty this morning having a nice relaxing time to myself while the girls were at school......almost....
Here are a few pics of Brooke on her way to school....
