Well, I am officially all partied out. We had Brooke's 2nd Birthday party on Saturday, and while it was a small family party, it wiped me out! I have been dying for a nap ever since Saturday! We had a few family and close friends over for lunch on Saturday. We cooked shish-kabobs on the grill, and served pasta salad, chips and dip and yummy chocolate birthday cake. Of course, Brooke had no earthly-idea what was going on...but we got the picutres and made some birthday memories, so I guess that's all that counts right? We put Brooke's cake in front of her and before we could start singing she blew the candles right out! So, I focused the camera and we lit the candles again...she attempted to blow them out again, but we stopped her. Here is the video of "Happy Birthday to Brooke"...
Here are a few pics from the party....
By the way, here is Brooke the morning of her birthday...just waking up....in her nightgown and high heels (rememeber I told you she's obsessed with shoes)...what a sweetie!
Then we moved on to gifts....and here is a video of her opening one....
After Brooke's fun party Saturday afternoon, we headed to another party held for Faith's friend, Kendall. Kendall tured 6 and had a horseback riding party. My girls absolutely had a blast riding the horse and just hanging out on the farm...here are a few fun pics from there!

Thank you so much for sharing! I love watching your girls grow up!!!
Happy belated birthday, Brooke! You look so cute!
I had to laugh that she blew her candles out. When we celebrated Topher's birthday, he looked like he was going to blow his candles out, then stopped and said, "Does this look good enough for the picture, mama?" I think they're finally learning!
