Help me pick a paint color!
After years of having gold/yellowish walls, I am having them painted this week!!! YAY!!!!!
I'm really excited about this....I've had these wheat colored walls for almost 10 years, and I am so ready for change!!!!
Problem is, I can't decide on a color!
I know I don't want just the typical beige color, but I also don't want to go too drastic with a color since this will be the main color people see when they walk in my house.
Here is a shot of my living room....very open...and GOLD.....ugh! (I've already started taking things off the walls, hence the empty mantel)

I have decided I want a khaki color with a sage undertone. This way, it will look khaki in some light, sage in others....
Sooooo, I have narrowed it down to these 3 pain colors. They are all close in color, but look different on the wall.
But, which one??? I NEED your comments and opinions!

I like the second paint color. In the first picture the other colors both look too light. In the second picture, the one on top has too much of a beige tone to it, and the bottom one has a faint hint of blue. That's just my opinion though. It's amazing how different they look in different light on the different walls.
We like the second paint color. Reasoning: (from the interior designer) Browns and red accents (couch and chair) will bring feelings of christmas tree in the room... if that is your intent, if you should go option 3. Option 2 is best neutral to the room already while allowing you to maintain what you have.

i definitely like the middle one the best. number 2.
i tend to gravitate toward darker colors, even in a big open space. i like the contrast between the walls and the molding/white accents.
remember that red brings out greens in colors. so if you have red furniture next to a color with green undertones, the color will look more green.

I like #2, as well. Hope you love whatever one you choose. (Also, nice to know I'm not the only one who has trouble picking paint colors.) :)
