I announced a few weeks back that we are expecting Baby #3!!
(This is what happens when your husband comes home from a 14 months deployment, and the two of you scoot off to a 10 day kid-less trip to Germany) ha!
We have been thrilled about completing our family....but, honestly, I have been so sick it was very hard to be excited for quite some time.
Now I am 15 weeks and 4 days pregnant, the morning sickness has subsided, and I am feeling like a human being again. I didn't have bad morning sickness the first two pregnancies, so I guess this one was making up for what was missed before, and then some! I had a REALLY rough time from weeks 6-14...that's 8 weeks of feeling like a science experiment...and GREEN all the time!
My intention was to start from week 12 (when we finally made the pregnancy public) and document each week...but, I was still feeling awful during that time, and just never got around to blogging about it. But now, I am ready!
So, here we go....
15 Weeks 4 Days Bump!
*How far along?: 15 Weeks 4 days
*Total weight gain: About 3.5 pounds...with my first baby I had gained about 15lbs already, so I am doing well so far.
*How big is baby?: The size of an apple.
*Sleep?: Had some back spasms last week, but am sleeping GREAT this week.
*Best moment this week?: Realizing it's been about a week since I was extremely queasy!! yay! Finally, no more morning sickness!!!
*Movement?: Haven't felt movement yet, but I am sure I will in the next couple of weeks!
*Food cravings?: For the first time in my 3 pregnancies, I can tell you that there is nothing I feel like I HAVE to have....I've had really bad food aversions this time....but lately, chocolate milk does taste good to me, but it's not something I HAVE to have. A glass every other day or so, works for me. I also like the taste of spaghetti, but again, not something that I crave.
*Labor signs?: No, thank Goodness.
*Belly button in or out?: Still in, but I don't have a deep belly button, so it will poke out soon!
*What I miss: We recently discovered I have blood clots in my leg, so I have to now give myself 2 shots of blood thinner the rest of my pregnancy...so it's inconvenient, I'm on "bed rest" for the next 6 weeks until these blood cots dissolve...no exercise at all. So, I am REALLY missing going for a run....oh, how I miss running!!!
*What I’m looking forward to: Getting these blood clots dissolved so I can resume exercising...sitting around really stinks!
Be back soon with my 16 week update.

congrats! so fun to watch along. :)
This is awesome! I must have missed the post where you announced you guys were expecting!! I am a little over 13 weeks and weeks 4-12 were literally killer with the morning sickness so I totally feel your pain on that one!!!
Hi, I just found you through Remodelaholics site. Congrats! I can speak from experience.....the shots are so worth the pain! I had to do shots every time we were trying to get pregnant until 6 weeks after delivery.
I could push you around in a running stroller!
